Just before the forum refresh, I'd asked if anybody know Nicholas Ethridge from Lk Charles LA, because I'd bought some gages from him on ebay, had some good correspondence with him, but then never heard anything more and he never cashed my check. I was starting to wonder if he'd gotten wiped out by the hurricane, but I didn't know just when or where the hurricane hit.

Some moron who's too chickensh-t to include his email address posted a few troll-type comments that I ignored, but apparently he wants to keep trolling on the refreshed forum as well.

As for Mr Ethridge, I finally got an email from him last night and indeed he got hit real bad by the 2nd hurricane. He's okay, but said he lost "everything". He wanted to know if he should send me the gages or send my money back. I told him to put that at the bottom of his to-do list and take care of everything else first. I don't know too much else about his situation, but he's a jeep collector. He has 3 m151s, a 1942 slat grill mb, 1953 cj3b and two 1947 cj2s. It's gotta be mighty sad if they all ended up underwater, and if they did, his house is probably even worse. I don't have any jeep parts but I told him that if any of his rigs still had 24V electricals, I'd send him a box of each kind of light bulb. It's not much compared to having everything destroyed. He sent the email to me through the ebay mail system rather than directly so I think he probably doesn't have his own computer yet. If I can find out anything more about what he lost, if he needs any repair parts, or whatever, I'll post it in case anybody wants to help him out.
