My ancestors were similar. They were pioneer settlers there in the North Platte area, lived in soddies, etc.
We are up in the Black Hills now. I have seen all kinds of junk cars, etc in Nebraska and South Dakota, but no obvious PW's yet. However I have not looked real close as we have places to see.
