Well, we finally got him. It was a hassle to the bitter end, plus they nailed me for not registering our other dogs. $25.00 a dog. They put a chip in Bullet, and he was in real sad shape.
He lost 30 to 40 lbs, and on the ride home, he couldn't get close enough to us, which normally would have been okay, but he really stunk and he had thousands of burrs on him.
We took him to the vet to have him checked out. Besides the burrs, his ear was all infected and cut, and he had burns, yes, burns on his privates. it'll take a while and alot of TLC to get him back to his old self. At least he's still a sweetheart.
This one lady at animal control said we were lucky, that the coyotes are packing and are bringing down big dogs. They've been killing and eating peoples pocket puppies and cats for a while here.
