by PAPSCO that a battery useful life may be two years. They recommended you change batteries every two years if under heavy usage. Granted you can get many more years. Our ambulance batties last about two years. I'd rather rather cough up $60 then run the risk of getting caught with a dead battery in the middle of nowhere on a cold winter day.
