The seat has a plate on each front corner. Each plate has four holes that the pegs go into. This provide the front to rear adjustment for the seat and hold the seat in position so it will not slide around when you drive. The back of the lower seat also has two slots in it that tabs on the seat back slide into. This makes the seat back move back and forth as you adjust the seat bottom.
