What is Different ? - Tailgates WC 1/2 ton vs WC 3/4 ton

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between a
WWII WC Half Ton Tailgate and a WWII WC 3/4 ton tail gate. I would imagine the
latches are different.

If you look at tailgates on a half ton and 3/4 ton, they appear to be the same size.

1. Are the legnth and width of the half ton tailgate the same as a 3/4 ton tailgate ?

2. The WWII Parts book SNL-G567 list four different pn's.

half ton tailgate t207 = 598666
t211/t215 = 950363

3/4 ton t214=931008, replacement for 951010

other than the latching brackets, are there any dimensional differences ?
