I haven't seen one of them in a while! Is it an "Auto-Lite" With four Terminals,one being a ground? They all adjust the same. Really need a plastic "air-gap" guage to do it correctly. You can use a Volt meter to do the same. The coil with the larger wire winding and is usualy shorter in height is the "cut-out" re-lay. The taller coil with smaller wires winding is the voltage. You can adjust this cautiously with the engine at 1/2 throttle. Should 7.3V with all acc.
On. First check the voltage of your Batt.
If it is fully charged, The system is working normal.TGP
