I have a 1969 W300 single wheel with winch and utility box. It was Air Force Telephone maintance truck [a lot of these around]w/ 318 and 30,000 miles. Now it has a built 413[426] RV/truck engine w/ 13" hydrolic clutch and NP540 5 spd. O.D. I am running elect. ign and solid state vol. reg.along with surplus 37" HUMMVEE tires on orig. rims with 4.89:1 gears. I can cruse down the highway at 65-70 MPH @ 2,800 RPM.
I also have a 1964 W300 cab $ chassis w/361 V8 duals and a W300 1966 parts truck with 11,000 orig miles that had a bad cab fire.
Also a friends 1964 W300 single wheel express.
