Boy, talk about getting off track.... ;>)

Growing up in a strong union town (Chicago), and have been a member of several different unions thru-out my life, I have to agree with Kevin. Blame lies on both sides. I also have to agree with Will. Greed started all of this mess. How much profit is enough? Look at the oil companies. Marathon for example has been making billions, not millions of $$$$'s PROFIT per year for I don't know how long. That's profit mind you, expenses already paid out. That includes R & D, salaries, payoffs, benifits ect.... Who always pays for these excesses?

Even the unions, which was formed for the workers protection, when they have their meetings, keep these big ole burly Sgt of Arms to quell anyone that questions their decisions. Heck, they want to keep their Caddys' or Town Cars and big houses, not to mention the salaries they draw off the workers. Work at a union job and not pay dues and see what happens.

I guess the bottom line has always been and will always be that the worker is F'd.
