When I was going to Vo-Tech school, I had a old 59 Jeep Station Wagon, That used a qt. to school and a qt. returning. My dad bought oil by the barrel for his business. About 30 miles one way up mountains and down. One time I turned a corner and left so much smoke the cars turning into the road had to stop to let the air clear before they could see where to drive. When we finally tore the engine down, all the rings were cracked on all pistons and some pistons had holes in the top.
