Fuel MPG is not that big a thing to me. My Jeep gets 15-18 mpg, dodge got 8-12 mpg, tender got 6.9 to 9 mpg and since I don't drive far the cost of the rig is the most inportant thing. Even if I figure what I paid 4,000.00 verses 30,000.00 new truck the difference will buy 8,666 gals of fuel at 3.00 a gal that is 52,000 miles of driving at 6 MPG! I only put less than 8,000 miles a year on my daily driver now so I figure that will 6.5 years worth of fuel, and this one will probley be driven less than 1,000 miles a year so it will be a life time befor the fuel cost even breaks even compaired to a new truck that will still get 15-18 miles to gal or less loaded down. Fuel cost per year in the Chevy will be around 500.00 for those kind of miles on it and that is about a months payment on a new Dodge plus I would still have to buy 200.00 fuel per year on top of the Monthly payments.
