For the short hauls 40-60 miles or so round trips it should not be a problem hauling hay or a few cows or horses. That is what I needed a heavy hauler for not long hauls. For the price I could not beat it. As far as Crapola that 98 Dodge was a big pyle of it I must have got a bad one cause my 89 3/4 ton Dodge Van with the 360 could out pull it by far with out problems. I even pulled a 12,000 lb trailer(van loaded also) over the pass with the van and it had a auto and around 180,000 miles on it! I drove that van for over 100,000 miles with out a problem so it was not a Chevy verses Dodge thing. I just need a truck not a name to pull stuff with. Mark H.
