When I was doing the drive shafts on the Carryall, I purchased Spicer 3-4-2051-1, which are yokes that fit the dodge pinion shaft/spline and mate to a Spicer 1350.
There is no way they would have slid on, drive on maybe, but they would never come off. I had to 'love' all the splines a tad with a file to get it to go on properly.
Maybe this is what your faced with, Someone changed Yokes that were a tad undersize ?
