The data plate is on the front door post of the drivers door. You can get the serial number off the frame just in front of the drivers side front shock mount. Sometimes it will be on the passenger side. With the serial number you can come back to this page and find out the year and place of manufacture. The year will give you an idea of what features "options" it had (such as engine, bed type, and etc).
