Your best bet would be to call one of the blower outfits and talk to them. Tell them what you intend to do with the setup you are wanting to build. I wouldnt waste my time with used blower parts. You will be lucky to build a blower motor setup for 10$ per hp.Its probably gonna be more. You will have lots of money tied up in it and one wrong adjustment or wrong part bought and you will blow it up in a hurry. You cant skimp on bottom end parts. Heads will need to flow good in order to take advantage of the forced induction. It all has to work together. Your compression ratio will probably be 7 or 8 to 1 pistons and will go up a bunch as you force the air into the engine. That will probably require you to run a good racing fuel. You may find the price of the blower is the cheapest part.

If you are wanting torque a stroker kit for a 400 or the 440 with a lower compression ratio might be the better way to go for you if you want reliability and run on pump gas. If you go this route I'd call and talk to the cam company with your needs and then build the motor around the cam. I'd give these guys a call.........

Know what kind of octane fuel you can get and your elevation. Gears and drive train is good to know also.
