vacuum leak.

I have a 1/2 ton carryall that I reserected the engine on. I repaired a significant vacuum leak by making a new gasket for the carburator. The problemis that even after the engine is warm, I still need almost full choke so that the darn thing will idle. Any suggestions? Robert.
