I purchased a 1946 Dodge Powerwagon about 20 years ago in Norwood, Colorado. I hauled it back to Illinois and drove the truck around my farm only a small amount before starting a restoration.

I had a fellow (a drunk) start a restoration project for me on the truck. He was a bad choice, because shortly after he got everything torn apart, he lost interest after getting twenty dollars in his pocket for booze. The truck and all parts have been in the barn out of the weather, except the wheels & frame, and have been stored inside since 1987.

I am looking for someone who is reputable to restore the truck. I am seeking someone who has restored PowerWagons previously. I will need references this time.

Could someone please direct me to an individual or business who has this expertise. I will not make the same mistake twice. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The truck and all parts are in Central Illinois. I am prepared to have it delivered anywhere in the U.S. for restoration.

Please contact me by e-mail or phone.
