The problem trannies were the Mitsubishi's. Dodge started phasing these out in 2000 or so, sorry I don't have serial numbers for you...ha!ha! But if someone here knows which trans is the Dodge vs. the Mitsu, that may help you avoid the problem. Same thing goes for the motors, USA V-6's like the 3.3 and 3.8 were better motors than the Mitsu motors which were also phased out.
