I used soda ash from Agway. 12 1/2 lbs. to 50 gal. water in a plastic drum.It did an excellant job on my rims followed by powerwashing and next to the sandblaster. I used a piece of basebooard sheetmetal scrap bent like a U connected to pos. and wire hung on a 2x2 to keep the material to be stripped bouyant.I even fit the fan shroud in.
