Registration is now available for the Mid-Atlantic Power Wagon Rally, October 7-9 in Wild & Wonderful West Virginia. This event will include a truck show, swap meet, trail rides, meals, T-shirts, etc. (see Events page of this site).
The event is being held at Chestnut Ridge Park about 12 miles east of Morgantown, West Virginia. Temperatures in October can be pretty cool up in the mountains so plan accordingly. Plenty of camping is still available and hotels are listed nearby.
The event fee is $15 advance/$20 day of event per vehicle and includes space rental. Space is limited, so register early! Trucks on trailers may wish to unload near the entrance to the park. Meal fees are listed below and include space rental also. My friend Deb Strouse has agreed to do the catering. The Friday Cook-Out is complimentary and will include venison chilli. Please indicate if you are coming so we will have enough food for everyone.
This is a family-oriented event. Please be advised that alcohol is technically prohibited within in the park. However, it is allowed if used with discretion, so use your own judgement.
We are soliciting donations for a raffle and/or silent auction. Please let me know what you can contribute. Sponsors so far include Dennis Sherman at Power Wagons Plus and Paul Mierop of Moose Creek Maple Products. Thanks guys! Proceeds will benefit this site and the Coopers Rock Mountain Lion Sanctuary, which we will be visiting on Sunday.
