Just got a delivery of two 6-volt headlights and some other stuff from our friends at VPW.

What a hoot! Inside their boxes, the headlamps are packed in newspaper that is crumbling and yellowed. One is the Wall Street Journal and the other is the (NY) Daily News. Both are dated 1980.

It gives new meaning to "New Old Stock". I wonder how these 26 year-old lamps got from NYC to Iowa?
