Yup, I am aware of those, but in this case they wouldn't work, because the socket cylinder is the wrong one. It has the female keyways set up for the single-filament bulb, not the dual-filament one. Another reason they would not work is the fact that the Roberts body has no "rear" against which the spring would operate. The wafer, spring, and wire assembly just flies out the back of the fixture. I drilled two eentsy holes, and used a cotter pin to secure the spring assembly on mine, just to get it to work temporarily.

To make the Roberts one work, we would need to remove the cylinder, and swage in a new one, stolen from another type of signal. In my humble opinion, that's too much to ask of a customer who has purchased a repro, expecting it to work without minor or major modification. I can and will make something that will satisfy me, but asking the average customer to reinvent a brand-new item is bad business.
