tires produced before the 80's or so (give or
take 10years did not have the DOT markings
only a MFGR code or (paint code) on the side
of the tire to denote plant and qtr/year
of mfgr
my NATO tires were re-treaded in Denmark in
1974 on Firestone casings
look ok to me as an old tire man
there is nothing wrong with Denman NTD tires
or any othter NDT tires for that matter
it would be very hard to get the mfgr codes
at this time 30 years later
