Right now, there is an auction going on in California for a bunch of Michelin XL tires...
If you don't mind demounting the tires from LVS rims and can handle used tires, there is a lot with 80 Michelin 1100r16 XL tires with a current price of... $131.
There are five lots of these. There are a couple of lots of 24 tires that are in the mid $400's (notice that the smaller lots are getting a higher bid than the larger lots...).
There are also a lot with brand new Michelin XL tires also in the 1100r16 size with 24 tires that is currently at $911.
Now, if I could convince one of you to run over and pick them up and haul them to me (keep in mind that I am in NC), we could work out a great deal (perhaps a few of you could get together and snag them and put them in a barn somewhere for the PW familly so we don't have to pay some dealer through the nose??
If you are currently bidding on these and are upset that I mentioned the auction, keep in mind that I did not say where it is. I will tell folks who email me where it is though...
Hard to get them from Michelin, but they are out there...
