Ha! Then I'm sticking with mine, Leonardo set the foundation for many of the theories that Albert proved, some of Leo's aeronautic designs and theories are still being developed and work! Ben, he was just the good 'ol boy of the era, if he had invented auto's it would have been the Power Wagon. His practical ideas include the
Post Office distribution system, unusual musical instruments, bifocals, Day light Savings, electrical theory that made the work of others practical, proved positive and negative ions existed, lightening rod, Plotted the Gulf Stream, organized Fire Departments, Libraries, efficient wood stoves (the Franklin), odometers, urinary catheter, swim fins, water tight bulkheads for ships, framer of the Declaration and Constitution, he was the glue behind the Constitutional Convention and his diplomatic skills preserved the nation and allowed tiny American to survive and prosper in a world in conflict.
He's on my list!
