I managed to drop the rear pumpkin out of my 65 WM300 this afternoon. Lots of chunks in there. I'm not entirely certain of the source. There is some damage to the Ring and Pinion. It is possible that remnants of a broken axle have been quietly waiting for some one to put fresh oil in the differential so they could escape their sludgy bonds and cause some mischief.
Should be back on the road tomorrow evening.
