Thank you for the replies on my last post! A year ago I had to buy a '04 F-350 4x4 PowerChoke. Dodge dealers were not allowed to remove the bed or offer a cab/chassis and I needed an 11 ft. service body on it. This truck has been getting 8 mpg loaded. On my average year of 30k miles it will use 3750 gallons @ $2.59 and will cost $9712.50. The V10 @ 5 mpg will use 6000 gallons @ $2.54 and will cost $15,240 a difference of $5,527.50. With those #'s, the diesel would pay for itself the first year even with the added cost of oil changes. Is this correct or am I missing something? Thanks, Jim.
