one of the last things one ever wants to do
on a vehicle is increase the unsprung mass
(weight) which is all the parts under the springs
even worse is to increase the mass (weight) of the rotating parts hubs / drums / wheels /
tires or move the weight of these rotating parts out further from the axis
ie: go from 16in wheel to 20in even if both wheel/tire assemblies weighed the same
and the outside diameters were the same the heavy part (rim base) has been moved out 2in on the radius and things happen on the square of the radius (takes more energy to start rotation and more energy to stop) nothing new Sir Isaac Newton wrote it all out about 350 years ago
