Smokey did not kiss butt , he was not a jerk either. Smokey spoke his mind and did what he thought best . I am not sure how many times he had his rank changed but no matter what happened he kept right on doing what he thought best. The neat thing was he was never bitter and had a great attitude for life. We need more like him. His story is a great one. His life was pretty darn good too.
