Clint, that was me that was talking about the regulators. The reason I said that is because a vent window regulators rollers are close together and are basically working on just 2/3 of the window to start with. At one point they are clear to one side. The Non vent window regulators push EQUALLY from the edges and work their way in until the glass is all the way up. They defintely roll it up easier because it's even force as opposed to pushing from one side. Most people don't ever grease them so the handles start to get loose from the extra force needed to do the job. If everything is tight, greased and weather stripping is okay you'd be allright.

On a side note, 1941 military 1/2 ton doors don't have the panel guard either. Kevin
