Well it finally happened! I've observed the prices on these old gals slowly going up through the teens, twenties and now 30k for a non stock daily driver. Not to take anything away from Steves' restorations, as he has done a great job and they look great. Where does it stop though? IMHO they are overpriced, but perhaps given the astronomical cost of paint jobs and restoration they are indeed worth it. I have over 10k invested in mine and am a long way from completing it. The cult type following these trucks now have,(and I'm surely one of them!) are sadly going the way of most other restoration projects as they gain popularity. The prices are going so high it will no longer be affordable for those of us who still approach these trucks as a hobby or pass time rather than collectors. Given the skyrocketing value it will get to the point where you will see more and more trailer queens. I sincerely hope you do get what you're asking. Any bets on when will we see the first $40k daily driver? Good luck to you!

Brett
