Heard this story one evening;
This family is traveling, finally they get to Newfoundland. They have heard it prounced;

They are confused. They decide to ask a local at lunch that day. So at lunch they go up to this old guy who they figure knows how to say it. They ask " how do you say the name of this place". The old guy looks up and real slowly says B U R G E R K I N G.
