You are correct about the interchange between the M37 and the civlian Power Wagon transmissions. In looking back at my post, I notice that I was a bit unclear on my statement about the early and late M37 transmissions interchanging as assemblies... I meant that they can be swapped back and forth in that chasis without problems...
