My Dodge did real well this last trip aside from some IDIOT leaving the foil tops from additive bottles in the fuel tank!!
As soon as I hit ID I started having problems at about half a tank of fuel, The truck would just die like it would be running out of fuel. It cost me $125 to get it towed to a shop (figured it was the lift pump) replaced it and fuel filter and back on the road with a full tank, half a tank later the truck died again! After screwing with it for a couple hours on Fri I decieded it must be a hole in the pickup line in the tank sucking air..Nope! Just those darn foil tops plugging the intake line as the tank would get to sloshing around!
Dropped the tank at Diggers and stuck it back in and no more problems!
Todd, the truck pulled fine and fuel milage wasn't all that bad considering the hills and #24,000 gross. Really like that gear vendors overdrive for splitting the gears!
I've got some great pics of Johns 6x6 in the mud I just need to get them downloaded.
Quit messing with poor ole Sammy your gonna give him a complex. ;)
