Today was the quintessential Colorado July day ... Cloudless blue sky all day long and through the evening. We'll hope the trend lasts at least through tomorrow. Have fun pushing those loaded-down rental cars up to the top of Pikes Peak! Go easy on the brakes on the way down, or they make you stop and wait to let them cool off at the 11,500' Glen Cove check point! See you all after that. The tents and dinner await! I'll be jealous when you head on down to Philmont for some of the best backpacking in the Southern Rockies. Dodge Content: If I were better prepared, I'd have planned for you and your crew to help lift the bed off of the B4 during your short visit!
