Got this note from Dave Bruecks about the firetruck theat his troop restored. More pictures aon the link below. Dave was looking for more info about Howe firetrucks, he can be contacted at davidbruecks@juno.com:

We are Troop 198 out of Mundelein, Illinois. The truck is being restored in Grayslake, which is a neighboring town to the north of us.

We are extremely fortunate to have a number of adults who enjoy this kind of thing, and other things we do as well, who are very active so we CAN do something like this.

We got this truck in northern Wisconsin, where it had been stored in a barn for 25 years, which is probably what saved it from being a real rust bucket.

By the way- what caught my eye is the couple pics of a Howe fire truck you have. This is also a Howe.
