My 2004 Dodge/Cummins gets just under 20MPG on the highway, when not towing a trailer.
On the trip to the Iowa rally, I was pulling a 22' gooseneck trailer with our 69, W200 on it, at around 75 miles/hr. It averaged 11.9 towing that load. I have got as high as 13.2 towing a big load, but that was at more moderate speeds, with an average speed of 60 - 65mph.
