Depends what you want really.
If you are looking for a daily driver on the highway that you can maintain with parts from the local store it might be OK, but you'd be paying 4000 for the restoration and modifications, and 2000 for the basic truck.
If I was spending that sort of money I'd want an original vehicle with all the original bits, but then it wouldn't really be a highway machine at all. Same truck original, rough but complete could be from 750 to 2000 USD depending on condition.
