What Mark says is true. U-Haul trailers are rated for 4000 lbs. Do not use them. I rented a 1.5 tom dually truck from Budget and a tow bar rated for 6000lbs. Flat towed it 120 miles from Allentown PA to Lancaster PA and it went well. Tow bar warned do not exceed 45mph - which I mostly followed. I loaded the towing truck with tools and parts to make it heavier when braking. Towing was fine and the M37 (same caster as PW) turned great w/ the tow vehicle. Tow bar chains did wear on bumper slightly due to slight slack in chain that I could not adjust out.

Pulling the rear axels will take you about 30 min max. They are very easy to remove. Front hubs likewise will come off fast. Minimal tools are needed to pull the axles and hubs - just bring 3/8" 5/15" and (2) 9/16" wrenches and something to keep dust out of hubs on the way home.

Hope this helps.
