As a teacher and a professional, I find it really sad when a misinformed (and one might even assume close-minded) individual of my profession makes these types of statements. I witness students in the parking lot everyday in their new sports cars (that I could not even afford, but that is another subject all together) drive at unsafe speeds, tail-gait, cut people off, and pay not one bit of attention to what they are doing; a scene that is familiar in most other public schools. And the teacher in question has "issues" with a God-awful slow ragtop pickup. It makes me want to drive mine to work even more!
