As a clarification on my original post. In all fairness to the school the statement was made by one newbie, liberal teacher. The school did not envoke policy against the M37. I have decided not to push this teacher so as not to subject my son to any repercussions. He only has this teacher till the end of the semester, a few weeks. As a side note this very same school made national news when they expelled a sixth grade boy for wearing a pierced earing to school against school policy. The ACLU defended the student, the press branded the school as a right wing, conservative establishment. Then they hire this left wing nut case who opposes anything military, go figure. Any chance my son gets to write a report he picks a military subject. He reminds her that all the freedoms she enjoys are compliments of the honorable men and women and their evil weapons of war.
