US Military Wheeled Vehicles by Fred Crismon on page 99. It is called an M615. It used the commercial Power Wagon cab and chassis from the late 1940's on and it had a REALLY tall and long ambulance body that was similar in looks to the 1/2 or 3/4 ton WWII Dodge ambulances. It dwarfs an M43 ambulanc. It was primarily for US Allies via the Military Assistance Program (MAP) as it was cheaper to build than the M43. It was also 12v and because of the 113 BHP rated engine I'll bet it was powered by a 251 engine instead of the 230. Nice looking truck.
