I had some very scary rides towing my 55 C3PW on a two axle flat bed,(brakes on rear axle only), pulled by a 94 Bronco with a 351, and air helper springs. Too much weight behind the center point and the trailer wagged the Bronco all across the highway. Luck was with me and without any damage other than to my nerves I was able to recover and pull over. Moved the PW forward about 5 inches and no further problems. However learned of other less fortunate scenes and was told that no further trips with the Bronco. Long wheelbase of a pickup, gooseneck pin forward of the rear axle
and no further scares thus far. If your trailer has adequate brakes, the load is neither too tongue/tail heavy and the proper hitch,either wt. distributing/gooseneck/5th wheel, and any healthy 1/2 ton should suffice,(esp. if towing package equipped).
