I went through this a while back when I was trying to figure out the interchange of the factory 9' flatbeds. All the 9' bed trucks from 1939 and up have the same back of cab to center of rear axle measurement.
The earlier trucks are most likely the same, but I never checked. I do know that after 1930 or so the only boxes I have seen were 9' or less.
The only factory bed I can think of that might fit would be the 2 ton 1928 TD with a 12 foot pickup bed.
I doubt there are many of those left laying around though!
