Yep, I broke the first two sets of pins I installed in my Lock-Right right away. I'm still not extactly sure what was wrong. The third set seems to be holding up and I am very pleased with the Locker in general.

When the pins break, the locker stays locked all the time. I know several serious off-roaders who have broken theirs. They don't seem to be too worried if their diffs are always locked.

I have a theory that the internal dimension of the differential housing is too big or get's distorted to cause these failures, because the pins really shouldn't carry that much torque. Proper shims could correct this, but there is currently no spec. to go by, so it is trial and error until someone determines the correct maximum dimension.
