I am also a Volenteer Fire Fighter but have spent over $20,000.00 to set up a truck to work with too. Yes I would like to get some of my money back. I just paid allmost $3,000.00 to be insured for the year to be allowed to go out on fires! How much money have you spent investing into something to protect others homes with out of your pocket? How many years have you volenteered to fight fires for free? I am on my 9th+ year of donating my time to doing this. So yes I am a little upset not being called out when it is in my town, 8 miles from my home and they are using people who are 100s of miles from here out of the big cities to put them out! Mark H.
