The positive piece just hangs in the tank. This system removes paint too.
I can only run it while I am at work. This means it runs for about 5 hours. I think 10 hours will remove 5 or 6 layers of paint. I can see no damage to good metal. A little spot that I sanded came out looking just as clean and shiny as when it went in.
I did not use the stainless today, and after reading why it is a health hazard I will not use it in the future either.
