Sam's the one that made me see the light. Don't willy the frame, cut the rivets off the spring hangers and shift them back on the frame and drill new mounting holes. Takes the wheel base out to more stable 104" but still alot shorter and more managable than a PW's 126". Watch that third crossmember on the WC frame it gets into the back of the PW cab(I had to modify the cab).

I like your axle setup. Your one up on me there. I'm already thinking Dana's/disc's and selectable front locker. But too many projects and too little $ will force me to at least start out with the WC axles. The rear is centered that should help lessen breakage problems.

I always liked the look of the old open cab Macks thats one reason I cut the top instead of using the WC cowl. Plus...it's just different!
