For several years now I have had the hood off of my truck. First because I had the engine pulled out for rebuild, then after that because it's easier to work on the engine with it off. Well back in Feb. I had it in an Antique Truck show and wanted to put the back on. But guess what, there are two clip pieces for the center rods of the hood, one fits on the cowl and the other fits on the radiator shell. I have the one on the cowl, but I have no idea where I put the one that goes on the radiator shell. Some thoughtfull person who seen the truck at the show thought that I needed a hood and left a message with his name and number. I know I have that piece, somewhere, and I also know that I'll find it someday when I'm looking for something else. Oh Well, the search continues....
