According to the Chrysler book on Hemis, the WORST exhaust to use is the "early factory Dodge small hemi exhaust". Great. That's all I've got. So off of e-Bay I bought a guy's exhaust flanges he makes for the baby hemis, problem is I can't bend piping to make a set of headers. The headers that you usually see on e-bay are for the 315s and up, and don't fit the 241/270s.
Anyone need yet another project?!?! And if you offer to help me out - and your wife finds out you're helping a Dodge brother out before you finish all of her projects - I'll disavow all knowledge of your actions. (That's right, I'll give you up quick! We'd hate to rile the wives up!) If someone can bend pipe (small, about 1 1/2" diameter) and thinks they could weld me up a set of headers, please drop me an e-mail!
The local exhaust shop wants my first born male child, my wife my dogs and my Morton building, and, well, you all know how much I love my Morton building...
